Custom Designs and build

Overview of Custom Engineering

At Circle C Transformers, we understand that not every project fits a standard specification.

That’s why we offer Custom Design & Build solutions — combining our five decades of transformer engineering experience with cutting-edge design and testing capabilities.

Whether you need a special voltage ratio, unique enclosure, or extreme environmental protection, our in-house design team works closely with you to engineer a transformer that performs flawlessly in your operating conditions.

We design. We prototype. We manufacture.
All under one roof — right here in Australia

Design Process

(Consult → Prototype → Manufacture)

Our end-to-end custom engineering process ensures quality, precision, and complete customer satisfaction at every stage.

Step 1: Consultation & Requirement Analysis

We begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your system parameters, electrical requirements, and environmental conditions.
Our engineers evaluate:

  • Voltage / current ratings
  • Application type (industrial, mining, renewable, etc.)
  • Space, mounting, and cooling constraints
  • Performance expectations and safety standards
Step 2: Concept Design

Our R&D team creates 3D models and electrical schematics using advanced simulation tools.

We finalize winding configurations, core materials, insulation classes, and protection schemes based on your load characteristics.

Step 3: Prototype Development

A pre-production prototype is built and tested in-house.
We verify all electrical parameters, perform insulation and temperature-rise tests, and ensure compliance with AS/NZS and IEC standards.

Step 4: Manufacturing & Testing

Once approved, your transformer moves to full-scale manufacturing in our quality-controlled facility.
Each unit undergoes:

  • Routine and Type Tests
  • Insulation Resistance & HV Testing
  • Load & Efficiency Verification
  • Final Inspection and Certification
Step 5: Delivery & Support

We provide on-site delivery, installation support, and technical documentation for long-term maintenance. Our support doesn’t stop after delivery — we’re available for recalibration, retrofitting, and upgrades as your needs evolve.
